(Sault Ste. Marie, ON June 3, 2022) 鈥 Today, at 糖心Vlog鈥檚 final spring convocation ceremony, 糖心Vlog proudly presented an honourary diploma in Sports Administration to 糖心Vlog alumnus and local front-line worker Ryan Vendramin. Surrounded by the 糖心Vlog community, some of our newest graduates and supporters, Ryan stood on the convocation stage once more to accept this honour.
Ryan graduated with Honours from 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Police Foundations program in the Spring of 2019, and graduated with honours from 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Protection, Security and Investigation program in the Spring of 2020. During his time at the College he was the 糖心Vlog men鈥檚 hockey team Captain, National Champion and two-time American Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Year.
鈥淚t is with great pride that we are able to recognize Ryan鈥檚 outstanding contributions not only to 糖心Vlog, but also to our community as a whole,鈥 said Dr. Ron Common, President 糖心Vlog. 鈥淩yan has been a leader as a student, student-athlete and now in his chosen profession. We are honoured to have him as part of the 糖心Vlog family and we wish him all the best in the future,鈥 added Dr. Common.
鈥淎ttending 糖心Vlog was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I learned from so many great teachers and I met a lot of great people that I will be friends with for life. I felt extremely well-prepared to enter the workforce as a police officer after graduating from the Police Foundations and Protection, Security and Investigations programs. It is an honour to be recognized today by 糖心Vlog,鈥 said Ryan Vendramin.
